"Cell" papers feature RayBiotech products

  1. McAllister SM, et al. Systemic Endocrine Instigation of Indolent Tumor Growth Requires Osteopontin. Cell. 133: 994-1005.
    http://www.cell.com/content/article/abstract?uid=PIIS0092867408006211
This group used our RayBio® Human Cytokine Array 5 to help determine that osteopontin is a key mediator of tumor outgrowth and instigation, both of which are necessary for metastasis of tumors.

  2.  Acosta JC, O'Loghlen A, Banito A, Guijarro a, et al. Chemokine Signaling via the CXCR2 Receptor Reinforces Senescence. Cell. 2008; 133:1006-1018.
    http://www.cell.com/content/article/abstract?uid=PIIS0092867408006193
This blockbuster article identifies CXCR2 and its chemokine ligands as being important to maintaning senescence in cells. The authors used our Human Cytokine Array 5 in the identificaion of the roles of these molecules. This is a very good article for our products, as the results of the array were consistent with other published results and were confirmed using both qPCR and ELISA.

  3. Gao QT, Cheung GKH, Li J, Jiang ZY, Chu GKY, et al. A Chinese herbal decoction, Danggui Buxue Tang, activates extracellular signal-related kinase in cultured T-lymphocytes. FEBS Lett. 2007; 581:5087-5093.
    http://www.febsletters.org/article/S0014-5793(07)01035-6/abstract
This publication uses the Quantibody Human Th1/Th2 Cytokine Array to measure changes in cytokine release from cultured T-lymphocytes in response to an herbal preparation. The results were confirmed using ELISAs from another manufacturer.
