Dual Run & Blot System  

 

These gels provide superior results provided that:


1. The sample is loaded in the PAGEgel loading buffer,
2. One of the PAGEgel running buffers is used, and
3. The gel is processed as described in the running, staining and blotting instructions. Similar to Novex

The PAGEgel™ mini-cassette precast gels are made with colored plastic beads in the loading area (patent pending) so that the wells are visible when loading. The beads are inert and do not move; different colors are used to denote different gel buffer systems. The gel fingers project slightly above the lower plate to prevent sample carryover when loading and are held in place by grooves cut into the smaller front plate. The cassettes may be opened easily with the gel comb.

The composite-polymer construction (primarily cross-linked polyacrylamide with a small amount of agarose) imparts strength and elasticity to allow for handling without tearing and drying without cracking. The proprietary photo-polymerization system produces superb resolution.

InstantBlue is a ready-to-use, proprietary Coomassie stain that is optimal for obtaining well defined protein bands in a single step.

Developed to simplify standard protein gel staining procedures, this product will prove ideal for anyine looking to stain protein gels, whether as a one off or on a routine basis. With InstantBlue, you get a product that will save both time and cost.
