Human INTEGRIN αVβ3

(Octyl- β-D-glucopyranoside Formulation)

PRODUCT NO 01-INT-4

634 EUR

PACKAGE SIZE 50 μg

DESCRIPTION

Purified protein (0.435 mg/mL) in 25 mM Tris-HCI, pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCI, 1 mM MgCI2,

0.1 mM CaCI2 and 10 mM Octyl-β-D-glucopyranoside. No preservatives.

SOURCE

Human placenta.

PURIFICATION

Integrin αVβ3 was purified from human placenta by affinity chromatography using

immobilized monoclonal antibodies to αVβ3 integrin. A tissue detergent extract, which was

applied to the column. Purity is >95 % by SDS-PAGE (silver stain). It has tested negative for

HIV & Hepatitis. It is expected that this preparation of αVβ3 integrin will also interact with

other αVβ3 binding proteins in an RGD-dependent fashion.

STORAGE

Maintain at -70 °C in undiluted aliquots. Avoid repeated freeze/ thaw cycles. Handle as

potentially infectious.

APPLICATION

Electrophoresis and Immunoblotting control. Also useful for in vitro binding experiments

with metalloproteinase MMP-2. This format of αVβ3 is appropriate for functional

evaluations.
