Tumor Frozen Tissue Array
(Feb. 2008)
BioChain's human
tumor frozen tissue arrays are designed for studying tumor
tissue specific cellular localization of genes or proteins
of interest in different human tissues. 37 same kind of
tumors and 3 corresponding normal tissues are mounted on
positively charged glass slides. Total RNA and cDNA from
those tissues may also be available upon request.
Lateral Flow Assay Kits
(Jan.
2008)
A
lateral flow test typically incorporates a sample pad that
is intimately associated with a conjugate pad. This in turn
touches a membrane onto which test and control reagents have
been immobilised. An absorbent pad wicks fluid away from the
membrane. Using lateral flow assay system, many kits can be
developed for rapit diagnosis.
Anti-HEV IgG ELISA Kit
(Jan. 2008)
This kit uses
indirect ELISA method to detect anti-HEV antibodies IgG in
serum or plasma. The purified activated recombinant HEV
antigen (ORF2?ORF3) is coated on the multi-wells plate. The
HRP conjugated mouse anti human IgG (r chain) monoclonal
antibody serves as tracer. TMB is substrate for HRP. The
enzyme reaction with substrate TMB produces a color change,
and the intensity of the absorbance at 450 nm indicates the
presence or absence of Anti-HEV antibodies IgG in the
sample. The test is specific, sensitive, reproducible and
easy to operate. It is for blood screen of HEV infection.
Anti-HEV IgM ELISA Kit
(Jan.
2008)
This kit uses
Capture ELISA method to detect anti-HEV antibodies IgM in
serum or plasma. The mouse anti human IgM (µ chain)
monoclonal antibody is coated on the multi-wells plate. The
HRP conjugated recombinant HEV antigen serves as tracer. TMB
is substrate for HRP. The enzyme reaction with substrate TMB
produces a color change, and the intensity of the absorbance
at 450 nm indicates the presence or absence of Anti-HEV
antibodies IgM in the sample. The test is specific,
sensitive, reproducible and easy to operate. It is for blood
screen of HEV infection.
TORCH ELISA Kits
(Jan. 2008)
Biochain has
developed a series of ELISA kits for TORCH test of
Toxoplasmosis, CMV, Rubella, HSV. TORCH Stands for the
initial letters of the five infectious-disease categories,
which are toxoplasmosis, other infections, rubella,
cytomegalovirus (CMV), and herpes simplex virus (HSV). The
"other infections" usually include syphilis, hepatitis B,
coxsackie virus, Epstein-Barr virus, varicella-zoster virus,
and human parvovirus. TORCH test measures the levels of an
infant's antibodies against these five groups of chronic
infections. Biochain has developed a series of ELISA kits
for TORCH test of Toxoplasmosis, CMV, Rubella, HSV.
EasyXpress Viral Nucleic Acid Release Kit
(Jan. 2008)
The EasyXpress
Viral Nucleic Release Kit is designed for the rapid
isolation of small quantities of viral RNA or DNA from cell
culture supernatants and biological samples in microfuge
tubes or in a 96-well format for subsequent quantitative and
real-time RT-PCR analysis. The kit contains VNAR Protease, a
proprietary mixture of buffers and proteases that allow for
the isolation of up to 96 viral nucleic acid samples in
under an hour with no sample filtration or precipitation
steps.
TeloExpress Quantitative Telomerase Detection Kit
(Jan. 2008)
The Telomerase
Detection Kit is an optimized and validated real-time PCR
Kit for the quantification of human telomerase activity that
can be utilized in most real-time PCR platforms. In this
telomeric repeat amplification protocol (TRAP), the
telomerase activity in cell extracts adds the telomeric
(TTAGGG) repeat sequences to the 3’-end of an
oligonucleotide substrate. The number of repeat sequences
added by the enzyme is quantified using real-time PCR by
measuring the increase in SYBR green fluorescence upon
binding to DNA. Real-time PCR is conducted under conditions
in which primer dimer formation is negligible and the extent
of repeat amplification is directly proportional to
telomerase activity.
EZ-Blood RNA 96 Kit
(Jan.
2008)
The EZ-Blood RNA 96
kit is designed for the high-throughput purification of
total cellular RNA from whole blood in a 96-well plate
format. No phenol-chloroform extraction or precipitation
steps are involved. The sample addition and washing steps
are performed using any 96-well compatible vacuum manifold,
while the lysis of red blood cells (RBCs) and the final
elution of the RNA product are performed using a table-top
centrifuge.
EZ-Blood DNA 96 Kit
(Jan.
2008)
The EZ-Blood DNA 96
Kit is designed for the high-throughput purification of
genomic DNA from whole blood in a 96-well plate format. No
phenol-chloroform extraction or precipitation steps are
involved. The sample addition and washing steps are
performed using any 96-well compatible vacuum manifold,
while the lysis of red blood cells (RBCs) and the final
elution of the DNA product are performed using a table-top
centrifuge. The red blood cells (RBCs) in whole blood are
first selectively lysed and the while blood cells are
pelleted by centrifugation.
EZ-RNA 96 Kit
(Jan. 2008)
EZ-RNA 96 Kit is
designed for the high-throughput purification of total
cellular RNA from cultured cells in a 96-well plate format.
No phenol-chloroform extraction or precipitation steps are
involved. The kit can also be used to cleanup up to 96 RNA
samples at a time.
